Most visitors to Hawaii never hear the name rough-toothed dolphin. But this unusual deep-water species lives year-round in Hawaiian offshore waters, looks completely different from any other dolphin in the Pacific, and occasionally surfaces close enough to a passing boat to leave everyone on deck completely stunned.
